Here’s Why You’re Feeling Tired All the Time

Living a hectic lifestyle will definitely make you feel tired at some point, and that’s to be expected. But if you’re tired all the time, and the cause is unknown, there might be something worth looking into, like chronic fatigue. It can prevent you from functioning properly: from doing your daily activities, to accomplishing bigger tasks that require more of your attention and concentration.

Let’s take a look at the possible reasons behind why you’re tired all the time.

Lack of Sleep

Adults need at least seven (7) hours of sleep for optimal health, as it helps in repairing and regenerating cells. The morning after, you wake up refreshed, alert, and energized. This is something you might already know, but could be struggling with.

Several reasons can explain your difficulty in sleeping including stress, medical conditions, or a poor sleeping environment. For better sleep quality, you can try sleeping in a room that’s quiet, dark, and has a comfortable temperature.

Stress

It’s normal to get stressed from time to time. It can even help you with productivity. Chronic stress is different though, especially since it leads to stress-related fatigue, or even complete burnout.

Yes, you might have heard stress management is the way to go. Easier said than done, but it helps prevent unnecessary exhaustion. You should learn your limits and have a support system. Learn to share your burdens because it’s emotionally and mentally exhausting if you keep them all to yourself. You can also engage in stress-relieving activities to help you calm the mind like having a long bath or taking a short walk.

Nutrient Deficiencies

This condition can make you feel exhausted on a daily basis, even if you actually had enough sleep the night before. Deficiencies linked to fatigue include: iron, riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), folate (B9), cobalamin (B12), vitamin D, vitamin C, and magnesium. To help with this, you should eat more nutritious food and try taking supplements.

Unhealthy Diet and Dehydration

Did you know that what you eat and how much water you drink affect what you feel? So if you’re feeling tired all the time, maybe it’s time to look at what your diet consists of.

In order to have enough energy and nutrients, you should consume a well-balanced diet including fruits, vegetables, and protein sources like fish and egg. Eat three meals a day, and avoid unhealthy snacking in between, to sustain your energy levels. Lastly, avoid too much caffeine and sugar. They provide you with the energy boost you need, but it’s only temporary. You can opt for decaf or gradually reduce your caffeine intake altogether. Consuming too much could actually make you feel tired the following day, especially if you chose to consume caffeine at some point the night before.

More importantly, you should stay hydrated throughout the day to maintain your energy levels. Your body needs to replace the water used to carry out necessary biochemical reactions. So if you’re dehydrated, your body and mind feel exhausted.

Do you feel stressed out after reading this? No worries! You can still do something about the fatigue you may be feeling.

Help spark the energy with Multivitamins and Minerals (Berocca Performance) as studies have shown that with daily use, it helps decrease bodily fatigue because it helps sustain an increase in physical energy and stamina; with proper diet and exercise. By dissolving one tablet in water, you can help manage your pagod with proper diet and exercise!

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
